Alnwick Garden: 18 March 2007, 2pm
Join poets Anna Woodford, Emma McGordon and poet/musician Nev Clay to celebrate new poems and music inspired by their residency at The Alnwick Garden. The writers have been in residence at the garden over the winter on an audio poetry project devised by New Writing North and The Alnwick Garden and supported by Arts Council England. On Mother’s Day, there will be a special event to celebrate the residency, with live music, poetry and song. Why not come along and combine a visit to the spectacular surroundings of the garden with a chance to hear some wonderful words and music?
The event is free after admission to the garden (adults: £8/£7.50; children under 16: free). There is no need to book for the event.
